Participants will develop and assimilate effective methodologies in individual and group teaching, investigate and respond to legal and professional issues associated with music teaching, consider and incorporate the principles and processes of music education in their lessons and hone their ability to strategise and communicate in unfolding teaching situations.
The Graduate Certificate in Music Teaching is an AQF Level 8 qualification with a standard full-time duration of 0.5 years. The program is offered solely in part-time mode over one or two years, with classes convened face-to-face and online at times convenient to students in the workforce.
