Overview
The Graduate Certificate of Cyber Security Management is designed to meet the demand for cyber security professionals in public, NGO, law enforcement, and commercial sectors. It provides a strong analytical framework to understand the challenges, problems and solutions of cyber security from a range of professional perspectives. Students will develop technical and business knowledge and learn to apply this through a managerial perspective skills to help secure an organisation’s information systems.
The Graduate Certificate of Cyber Security Management is an AQF Level 8 program with a standard full-time duration of 0.5 years.
Conditions
Condition of Enrolment
Interruption of program: Students must apply for permission from the Faculty before taking a Leave of Absence. Any extension of the leave without approval will result in the loss of place in the program but an application may be made to be re-admitted to the program subject to the admission procedures in place at the time.
Academic Program Rules for Graduate Certificate of Cyber Security Management
There shall be a Graduate Certificate of Cyber Security Management.
Qualification Requirements
To qualify for the degree of Graduate Certificate of Cyber Security Management, the student must complete satisfactorily a program of study not less than 12 units, comprising:
- Core courses to the value of 3 units
- A specialisation to the value of 9 units from one of the following:
- Management
- Computer Science
