Overview
The Graduate Certificate in Materials Engineering is designed to meet the demand of future materials engineering, by delivering education for background and application of advanced materials with cutting-edge properties. The program will provide a practical and analytical framework to understand the challenges, problems and solutions of advanced materials. Students will develop technical knowledge and learn to apply this through technical and organisational perspectives to provide materials engineering expertise to organisations. It provides a pathway, and advanced standing, to further learning in the Master of Materials Engineering.
The Graduate Certificate in Materials Engineering is an AQF Level 8 qualification with a standard full-time duration of 0.5 years.
Conditions
Condition of Enrolment
Interruption of program: Students must apply for permission from the Faculty before taking a Leave of Absence. Any extension of the leave without approval will result in the loss of place in the program but an application may be made to be re-admitted to the program subject to the admission procedures in place at the time.
