Overview

The Bachelor of Finance (Honours) is an AQF Level 8 qualification with a standard full-time duration of 1 year.

Academic Program Rules for Bachelor of Finance (Honours)

There shall be a Bachelor of Finance (Honours).

Qualification Requirements

To qualify for the degree of Bachelor of Finance (Honours) the student must complete satisfactorily a program of study consisting of the following requirements with a combined total of not less than 24 units, comprising:

  1. Core courses to the value of 9 units
  2. Elective courses to the value of 3 units
  3. Research equivalent courses to the value of 12 units in the form of a Research Dissertation.

Core Courses

  • Core Courses

    To satisfy the requirements for Core Courses students must complete courses to the value of 9 units.

    All of the following courses must be completed:

    and

    Courses to the value of 3 units from the following:

    Students may only select ECON 4014 Econometrics IV (H) by agreement with their supervisor(s).

  • Research

    To satisfy the requirements for Research students must complete courses to the value of 12 units.

    To satisfy the requirements for Electives students must complete courses to the value of 3 units.
