Overview

The Graduate Diploma in Materials Engineering is designed to meet the demand of future materials engineering, by delivering education for background, design and application of advanced materials with cutting-edge properties. The program will provide a strong practical and analytical framework to understand the challenges, problems and solutions of advanced materials. Students will develop theoretical and technical knowledge and learn to apply this through technical and organisational perspectives to provide materials engineering expertise to organisations. It provides a pathway, and advanced standing, to further learning in the Master of Materials Engineering.

The Graduate Diploma in Materials Engineering is an AQF Level 8 qualification with a standard full-time duration of 1 year.
