Overview

The Graduate Certificate in Education is designed for trainers, educational consultants or any domestic or international student wishing to study Education at a postgraduate level, who does not already hold a qualification in teaching. The program presents the foundation concepts required to continue into a Master level degree.
Graduates of this program will NOT be eligible for teacher registration.
The Graduate Certificate in Education is an AQF Level 8 qualification with a standard full-time duration of 0.5 years.

Academic Program Rules for Graduate Certificate in Education

There shall be a Graduate Certificate in Education.

Qualification Requirements

To qualify for the Graduate Certificate in Education, the student must complete satisfactorily a program of study consisting of the following requirements with a combined total of not less than 12 units, comprising:

  1. Core courses to the value of 12 units
