Overview

Future university graduates face an uncertain future due to the growth of disruptive technologies as well as serious environmental challenges. Science skills such as critical thinking and creative problem solving are essential for preparing graduates for the careers of the future and adding an entrepreneurial approach to creating, assessing, and growing new opportunities will even better equip them for success. Students in this program will complete a major in science and they will also spend 25% of their time in courses taught by the Entrepreneurship, Commercialisation, and Innovation Centre in the University. They will therefore graduate with in depth knowledge of a science discipline in addition to a well developed understanding of entrepreneurship.

The Bachelor of Science and Entrepreneurship is an AQF Level 7 program with a standard full-time duration of 3 years.

Conditions

Interruption of program: Students must apply for permission from the Executive Dean or delegate before taking a Leave of Absence. Any extension of the leave without approval will result in the loss of place in the program but an application may be made to be re-admitted to the program subject to the admission procedures in place at the time.
