Overview

Students will be introduced to the discipline of Art History with in-depth study. They will develop foundation knowledge and critical skills in visual analysis, contextual research, and art historical methods and theories.

The Graduate Certificate in Art History is an AQF Level 8 qualification with a standard full-time duration of 0.5 years.

Academic Program Rules for Graduate Certificate in Art History

There shall be a Graduate Certificate in Art History.

Qualification Requirements
Academic Program: 

To qualify for the Graduate Certificate in Art History, the student must complete satisfactorily a program of study consisting of:

  1. Core courses to the value of 6 units
  2. Elective courses to the value of 6 units
Core Courses

To satisfy the requirements for Core Courses students must complete courses to the value of 6 units.
