Overview

The Bachelor of International Relations (Honours) is a one year program that includes advanced coursework and a research project in which students produce an extended piece of work (thesis) on a topic chosen in consultation with an academic supervisor.

The Bachelor of International Relations (Honours) is an AQF Level 8 qualification with a standard full-time duration of 1 year.

Conditions

Condition of enrolment
Interruption of program: Students must apply for permission from the Program Coordinator before taking a Leave of Absence. Any extension of the leave without approval will result in the loss of place in the program but an application may be made to be re-admitted to the program subject to the admission procedures in place at the time.

Academic Program Rules for Bachelor of International Relations (Honours)

There shall be a Bachelor of International Relations (Honours).

Qualification Requirements

To qualify for the degree of Bachelor of International Relations (Honours), the student must complete satisfactorily an area of research (major) with a combined total of not less than 24 units, comprising:

  1. Core courses to the value of 24 units

Core Courses

  • International Relations Honours

    To satisfy the requirements for International Relations Honours students must complete courses to the value of 24 units.

    Core Courses

    All of the following courses must be completed:
