To qualify for the Bachelor of Media with Bachelor of Criminology the student must complete satisfactorily a program of study consisting of the following requirements with a combined total of not less than 96 units, comprising:
1. Bachelor of Media courses to the value of 48 units including;
- 30 units of Media Core courses including a course chosen from the Core Competency List to the value of 3 units
- 9 Units of Media Closed Electives
- 9 units of electives
2. Bachelor of Criminology courses to the value of 48 units including:
- 30 units of Criminology Core courses
- 15 Units of Criminology Closed Electives
- 3 units of electives
A student who undertakes the Bachelor of Media with Bachelor of Criminology may count a maximum of 24 units towards both degrees, satisfying the requirements for the two degrees with a minimum total of 96 units of study.
The requirement for broadening, where applicable, is waived in the double degree.
