Overview
The Master of International Trade and Development aims to instil the ability to think and act strategically about international trade and development issues. The program is structured to provide a practical understanding of global, regional and national trade, investment and development issues.
The Master of International Trade and Development is an AQF Level 9 Masters Conversion qualification with a standard full-time duration of 1.5 years.
Conditions
Interruption of program: Students must apply for permission from the Faculty before taking a Leave of Absence. Any extension of the leave without approval will result in the loss of place in the program but an application may be made to be re-admitted to the program subject to the admission procedures in place at the time.
Academic Program Rules for Master of International Trade and Development
There shall be a Master of International Trade and Development.
Qualification Requirements
To qualify for the degree of Master of International Trade and Development, the student must complete satisfactorily a program of study consisting of the following requirements with a combined total of not less than 36 units, comprising:
- Core courses to the value of 21 units
- Elective courses to the value of up to 9 units
- Research equivalent courses to the value of up to 12 units in the form of a research project
