Bachelor of International Relations with Bachelor of Arts double degree.

Conditions

Condition of enrolment
Interruption of program: Students must apply for permission from the Executive Dean or delegate before taking a Leave of Absence. Any extension of the leave without approval will result in the loss of place in the program but an application may be made to be re-admitted to the program subject to the admission procedures in place at the time.

Academic Program Rules for Bachelor of International Relations with Bachelor of Arts

There shall be a Bachelor of International Relations with Bachelor of Arts.

Qualification Requirements

To qualify for the Bachelor of International Relations with Bachelor of Arts, the student must complete satisfactorily a program of study consisting of the following requirements with a combined total of not less than 96 units, comprising:

1.  Bachelor of International Relations courses to the value of 48 units including:

  • 15 units of International Relations Core courses including a capstone course to the value of 6 units
  • 15 units of International Relations Closed electives
  • 9 units of Language courses
  • 9 units of Open electives or 9 units of additional Language courses for a Language minor.
2.  Bachelor of Arts courses to the value of 48 units, including an Arts major.

A student who undertakes the Bachelor of International Relations with Bachelor of Arts may count a maximum of 24 units towards both degrees, satisfying the requirements for the two degrees with a minimum total of 96 units of study.

The requirement to complete a minor in the Bachelor of International Relations and the Bachelor of Arts programs, where applicable, is waived.
