Overview

The program provides a professional education for anyone wishing to pursue a career in the area of project management. Students will study recognised project management knowledge and skills and apply this to an industry or field of their choice. Hence, both generic and specialised knowledge will be gained from the program. The program also offers a capstone course in the form of a research study that will focus on investigating real world problems. 
 
The Bachelor of Project Management is an AQF Level 7 qualification with a standard full-time duration of 3 years.
 

Conditions

Condition of Enrolment

Interruption of program: Students must apply for permission from the Faculty before taking a Leave of Absence. Any extension of the leave without approval will result in the loss of place in the program but an application may be made to be re-admitted to the program subject to the admission procedures in place at the time.

Academic Program Rules for Bachelor of Project Management

There shall be a Bachelor of Project Management.

Qualification Requirements

To qualify for the degree of Bachelor of Project Management the student must satisfactorily complete a program of study consisting of the following requirements with a combined total of not less than 72 units, comprising:

  1. Core courses to the value of 42 units
  2. Elective courses to the value of 24 units (including 9 units minimum of Broadening Electives)
  3. Research study to the value of 6 units.
