To satisfy the requirements for Open/Broadening Elective Courses students must complete courses to the value of 39 units.
Open Elective
Open Elective courses up to the value of 30 units from any undergraduate courses offered by the University that are available to the student.
Broadening Elective
Broadening Electives up to the value of 9 units, can be chosen from any discipline other than courses with the subject areas: SOCI.
You have the option to undertake a major in Criminology, Gender Studies, International Relations, Management or Politics, in lieu of elective courses to the value of 24 units.
OR
You have the option to undertake a minor in Criminology, Gender Studies, International Relations, Management, Politics or Public Health in lieu of elective courses to the value of 18 units.
OR
You have the option to undertake a minor in Psychology in lieu of elective courses to the value of 21 units.
Broadening is not required when undertaking a major or minor.
