Overview

The Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics is designed to provide o provide students with specialist knowledge in business analytics. Students will gain the ability and skills to recognise, understand and apply the theory, concepts, and models of business analytics to contemporary business environments. Students will develop the skills necessary to apply modern business analytics techniques to their chosen field of expertise including handling Big Data, an ability to code in the most popular analytics platforms and present formative reports that interpret and present data to enable decision-making within the firm.

The Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics is an AQF level 8 program with a standard full-time duration of 0.5 years.

Conditions

Condition of enrolment
Interruption of program: Students must apply for permission from the Faculty before taking a Leave of Absence. Any extension of the leave without approval will result in the loss of place in the program but an application may be made to be re-admitted to the program subject to the admission procedures in place at the time.

Academic Program Rules for Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics

There shall be a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics.

Qualification Requirements
Academic Program: 

To qualify for the degree of Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics, the student must complete satisfactorily a program of study consisting of the following requirements with a combined total of not less than 12 units, comprising:

  1. Core courses to the value of 12 units.
